The Field

Beedie Field.
Our planned home, May 2027.

On top of Burnaby Mountain sits the northernmost collegiate softball field in the world — NCAA-calibre since 2010, and the finest softball surface in the country. From May 2027, we plan to bring it a new game day: camps, clinics, testing days, and fastpitch under the mountain sky.

The Diamond

Home games for the Red Leafs.
Then a home for the collective.

Through the seasons ahead, Beedie is the Red Leafs' house, and the collective's job is to help fill it. From May 2027 — pending final facility agreement with SFU Athletics & Recreation — the field becomes the collective's planned anchor, so the best surface in the country never sits quiet.

The Plan for the Field

Never quiet.
Never just rented.

An anchor tenant treats a field like a home, not a booking. The plan from activation: camps and clinics through the summer, lab days on the surface where games are actually played, team testing for visiting programs, and game nights that give BC fastpitch a place worth driving to.
